Monday, the first of November, 28 students and 7 teachers from Czech Republic gathered at the WaterCampus in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, to start a projectweek on Water. Pieter Hoekstra, programme manager of CIV Water gave the group a warm welcome with an introduction on CIV Water, Water Campus and PoVe Water.

This week is filled with numerous excursions and concludes at the Aqua Tech convention in Amsterdam. On Monday they will follow various masterclasses about water technology and a guest lecture by REDstack . Tuesday and Wednesday are all about excursions. Among others, they are going to visit a factory with a waste water treatment plant and will follow a guided boat tour through the nature park ‘de Alde Feanen’.

The project week in Leeuwarden is hosted by the Center for Innovative Craftsmanship Water (CIV Water) and is part of the European project “Platform of Vocational Excellence Water” PoVE Water.
